Grande affluenza di persone negli ultimi giorni a Campo Imperatore a causa della mancanza di neve nelle altre stsazioni abruzzesi. Infatti gli impianti di Campo Felice e Ovindoli sono praticamente chiusi mentre a Roccaraso le piste aperte sono davvero poche. I disagi e le polemiche non sono mancate: infatti se da un lato l'amministrazione comunale esalta i dati sull'affluenza, dall'altro le polemiche viaggiano spedite: ore interminabili passate in coda da parte delle persone non per sciare ma per fare il biglietto e salire. Infatti la mancanza dello sviluppo dell'impianto di Campo Imperatore, fermo fondamentalmente agli anni 50, anche se sono presenti due seggiovie moderne e veloci, rende la stazione di fatto non fruibile dal grande pubblico che lamenta la mala gestione delle strutture. Di contro, l'amministrazione comunale esalta il risultato sull'affluenza, imputandolo a una migliorata gestione, dimostrandosi miope e non adatta alla gestione di Campo Imperatore che ha delle grandi potenzialità ma che risulta essere da anni in mano a persone poco inclini al miglioramento della struttura: cambia la classe politica, ma il risultato di una gestione scellerata è sempre la stessa. Dire che e' un grande successo il delirio creato dalla gestione scellerata del CTGS che riceve un afflusso di persone imponente solo perche' le altre stazioni sono chiuse, dimostra quale visione ha la classe politica attuale delle opportunita' di crescita del territorio, risultando essere del tutto incompetente in materia e dimostrando di avere una visione del tutto distorta della realta'.
